The Institute for Literary Studies is located on the "Stadtmitte" campus, which is in the immediate vicinity of Stuttgart's main railway station. Traveling by public transport is therefore a good idea.
Arriving by train
Go into the large station concourse and take the central exit. Walk down into the Arnulf-Klett-Passage and turn right towards the exit marked "Lautenschlagerstraße". Follow Lautenschlagerstraße to the first intersection and turn right into Kronenstraße. Change to the other side of the street (zebra crossing) and continue to the large intersection Kronenstraße/Friedrichstraße. Cross Friedrichstraße (traffic lights or underpass) and follow it until Geschwister-Scholl-Straße turns off to the right. Turn into this street, follow it to the end and cross Keplerstraße (zebra crossing). The KII is the multistory building on your right; the NDL I/II departments are on floor 2b.Arriving by S-Bahn or U-Bahn

At the main station follow the signs to the bus stops (at the middle exit). Take bus number 40 in the direction of Vogelsang or bus number 42 in the direction of Erwin-Schoettle-Platz. Get off at the next stop (Katharinenhospital). Cross Kriegsbergstraße (traffic lights). KII is the multistory building on your right; the NDL I/II departments are on floor 2b.Taxi:
Taxis are located at the bus stops at the central exit of the main station.Parking
There are very few parking spaces (with and without parking meters) directly in Keplerstraße "in front of" buildings KI and KII. However, these are very quickly occupied. The "City Garage" (underground car park) in Geschwister-Scholl-Straße (signposted) offers further parking facilities in the immediate vicinity of the university.
