SUMMARY:SoSe 2022 | MA & BA Anglistik Mentoring Program
DESCRIPTION:Mentor? Mentee? We want you, our Anglistik students, to feel supported and encouraged during your time at the university! We want your university experience to be rewarding and memorable! To that end, we have designed a program for the summer semester 2022 to assist you in feeling fully embedded in campus life.\n\nWe are looking for both mentors and mentees to participate in a program that will take place over three meetings from 14:00-15:30 on Wednesdays this semester (4 May, 1 June, 6 July).\nBoth mentors and mentees will receive credit for participating, either fulfilling the internship or the SQ requirement.\nAfter engaging with surprising and fascinating guest speakers from a variety of programs at the University of Stuttgart, paired MA and BA students will work together to discover what the university has to offer by following a shared interest in selecting one topic worthy of a ‘deep dive.’\nThe overarching goals of the program – student collaboration, intercultural communication, project management, and oral presentation skills – will culminate in the making of an informative and interview-based podcast with HORADS Hochschulradio Stuttgart about one worthwhile facet of university life.\n\nStep up, make the University of Stuttgart your own, and let us enrich your university experience.
