“Beginning with The End: A New Year’s Reading of British Climate Fiction”
Start your new literary year with a relaxed, live, online reading of English fiction. Students from the Hauptseminar “Fraught Futures” will read Megan Hunter’s short novel/novella The End We Start From (2017) from start to finish over several hours on Tuesday, 5 January 2021. Buy the book and follow us as we read or simply listen in to Hunter’s engaging tale of loss, flight and survival in a flood-ravaged Britain. As well, the author Megan Hunter will join us for the last 90 mins of the event, to finish off our reading with us and engage in a discussion of her work.
