Annual International Conference of the African Theatre Association (AfTA)
We are delighted to extend a warm welcome to you for the annual AfTA conference hosted at the Institut für Literaturwissenschaf, University of Stuttgart, Germany. This conference serves as a platform to bring together researchers, scholars, and practitioners all working in African and African Diasporic Theatre and performance to respond to the theme: African and Afrodiasporic Theatre in the Digital Age.
AfTA provides a unique opportunity to network, collaborate, and engage in conversations with fellow attendees, advancing knowledge about African Theatre in and beyond the continent.
Throughout the conference, you can look forward to our keynote speakers, interactive workshop, and panel discussions. In addition to the scheduled programme of presentations, we have organised social events and performances which will offer plenty of networking opportunities to continue the fruitful discussions started in the panels.
